This is a custom commission with a three-step process. Production of your finished piece begins only once your chuppah glass shards are received at my Toronto studio.
Jewish wedding glass, preserved forever. This Chuppah Glass Mezuzah Kit is a meaningful keepsake, giving you everything you need for the moment and what comes after.
Before your wedding, I send you a hand-blown glass vessel designed to shatter beautifully, a white cloth, and a velvet pouch to collect every shard. After the ceremony, you ship the shards back to my studio and I fuse them into a bespoke horizontal Broken Glass Mezuzah for your home.
How it works:
You receive the kit before your wedding. After the ceremony, pack the shards in the velvet pouch and ship them back to me with a tracking number. I fuse the glass in my kiln, set it into an anodized aluminum case, and finish it with a sterling silver Shin. Your mezuzah ships back to you in 4-6 weeks.
Installation:
Arrives ready to hang, includes heavy-duty double-sided tape and two matching nails.
