Jerusalem of Gold Menorah – Commissioned Masterpiece in 23K Gold

A one-of-a-kind, museum-quality menorah depicting the Western Wall (Kotel), created entirely by hand using calligraphic pen techniques. Every detail—from the stones of the Wall to the figures in prayer, the architectural rhythm, and the sacred atmosphere—is meticulously hand-drawn. The figures are rendered in grisaille, a classic artistic technique using shades of gray to create depth, shadow, and a sculptural sense of volume, allowing the people praying at the Wall to emerge with subtle, lifelike presence. This adds a timeless, almost meditative quality, bringing the scene to life in a way that is both delicate and profoundly expressive.

Liquid 23-karat gold illuminates the composition, including the mesquite trees behind the Wall, while subtle glass powder touches capture the caper plants growing from the Wall, visible only upon close inspection. Thick and substantial at 6 × 12 inches, the piece is topped with solid brass candle cups, combining functionality with artistry. Entirely hand-drawn, each menorah is a labor of devotion, crafted individually and offered exclusively by commission, ensuring its uniqueness and collector-level distinction.
