Rosh Hashanah Apple and Honey Plate Set - Handmade Glass Art

Celebrate the Jewish New Year with this elegant and meaningful Apple and Honey Plate Set, a perfect gift for Rosh Hashanah. Handcrafted with care, this red-speckled honey dish is not only a decorative centerpiece but also a functional piece for use all year round.

The plate beautifully features "Shana Tovah" rendered in luxurious 23-karat gold, symbolizing a sweet and prosperous year ahead.

Why Apples and Honey?
In Jewish tradition, apples and honey signify the wish for a sweet new year. This set includes a stylish, loop-handled honey spoon (4” long), made of brass and stainless steel, designed for ease and elegance.

Product Details:
- Plate Dimensions: 7.85 inches in diameter, with 3 small legs for a raised display.
- Honey Dish Dimensions: 4 x 4 x 1 inches (approximate).
- The set is dishwasher safe for easy care and convenience.

Crafting Process:
Each piece in this set is carefully handcrafted in my studio using a kiln-fired glass technique. The glass is heated to about 1450°F, where it expands, softens, and begins to melt, joining together into a unified whole. After the initial fusion, the piece is placed on a mold and re-heated to around 1200°F to shape it into its final form. This meticulous process ensures durability, beauty, and a one-of-a-kind finish.

Because of the handmade nature of this product, expect subtle variations in size, tint, and texture—each piece is uniquely yours.

Every creation reflects my deep connection to the glass itself. I approach my work with care and respect, letting the glass guide me through the process. As I often say, "Each time a piece leaves my studio, a little bit of my soul goes with it." This devotion to craftsmanship ensures that each piece is not only beautiful but also personal.
