Preserve the Magic of Your Wedding Day
Breaking the Chuppah Glass at a Jewish wedding is one of the most cherished and meaningful moments. The fragility of the glass symbolizes the delicate nature of human relationships. Even the strongest love requires care, and the smashing of the glass serves as a heartfelt incantation: “As this glass shatters, so may our marriage never break.”
I help you transform the glass shards from this momentous occasion into a Personalized Mezuzah—a stunning family heirloom for your home.
Every time you touch your Mezuzah, you'll relive the joy of that communal Mazel Tov!—a Yiddish blessing that means “Good Fortune” and is the equivalent of “Congratulations!”
About the Chuppah Glass Mezuzah Kit
This kit is the perfect way to preserve the essence of your wedding day. You’ll receive a hand-blown Chuppah glass, carefully designed to shatter beautifully, and then have the shards transformed into a timeless Mezuzah artwork.
From raw shards to pearl-like treasures, this Mezuzah will be the perfect piece to start your Judaica collection.
How It Works
-
Order & Receive Your Chuppah Glass
- Upon placing your order, I’ll ship your chosen hand-blown Chuppah glass in a specially designed protective box.
- Your kit includes a white cloth for wrapping the glass and a velvet drawstring pouch for the breaking glass ceremony.
-
Send Back the Shards
- After the ceremony, place the glass shards in the velvet pouch and ship them back to me. You can reuse the provided box or use your own. Please ensure your shipment has a tracking number.
- Important for Non-Canadian Customers: When declaring your shipment, kindly limit the value of the “glass shards” to $10 to avoid customs duties. If duties are incurred, I will invoice you for the cost.
-
Creation of Your Mezuzah
- I’ll transform the shards using a fused glass technique in my kiln, crafting them into a pearl-like masterpiece that surrounds an anodized aluminum case.
- Each Mezuzah features a stainless steel Shin letter, symbolizing the word Shaddai (Almighty).
-
Delivery of Your Mezuzah
- Within 4–6 weeks, your personalized Mezuzah will arrive, ready to adorn your home and keep the memory of your wedding day alive forever.
