Come visit me when you are on PEI, there is enough time for a glass workshop even if you are just visiting from a cruise ship – and as glass workshop is perfect as a pre-lobster event.

This glass workshop is for people who live in PEI too – I would love to meet you, share my art, and help you create your own unique fused glass piece.  Going out to a restaurant can be fun – but why not try something new to make your special day the most memorable ever – a fused glass workshop.

Personalized Glass Workshop

Enjoy a personal hands on experience creating your own fused glass plate as a wonderful memory of your Island visit.

Students will learn the essential techniques for making fused glass pieces. This class will walk students step by step and provide them with the necessary information needed to fuse glasses.

Students will be guided in creating a fused glass plate that will be fired and picked up or shipped at a later date.

All Materials Provided For Glass Workshop

Class duration: 3 hours (all tools and materials are provided)

Daily by appointment  subject to availability –  preferably during mornings 9:00 to 12:00.  Evening hours please ask for Availability 

Fee should be paid in advance so as to book the place and the day.

2-6 persons: $90/pp + GST

This is the piece that will participate in the group exhibition called Something to Crow About and that I was invited to participate in.

There are over 30 artists participating with paintings, etchings, photography, textiles, glass and pottery.

This promises to be a fun and interesting show. I hope you can join us for the opening at Details, Past & Present Fine Art, 166 Richmond St. in Charlottetown, from 6 – 8 p.m. on Feb 16^th.

5 Day workshop – 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day

This is an intensive five-day workshop that explores the behaviour of glass and new ways to approach glass design and composition. You will study its technical and aesthetic features, its fluidity, deformation, motion and the process of the glass being submerged, causing special effects and creating suggestive movements. I will teach you how I created my awarded pieces.

SYSTEM96 (SPECTRUM GLASS and UROBOROS GLASS) will be used to create 3 pieces: a sculpture, a plate and a container.

We will work with dams and refractory materials.

Coldworking methods will also be covered.
