This is an intensive five-day workshop that explores the behaviour of glass and new ways to approach glass design and composition. You will study its technical and aesthetic features, its fluidity, deformation, motion and the process of being submerged, causing special effects and creating suggestive movements. I will teach you how I created my awarded pieces.
SYSTEM96 (SPECTRUM GLASS and UROBOROS GLASS) will be used to create 3 pieces: a sculpture, a plate and a container.
We will work with dams and refractory materials.
Coldworking methods will also be covered.
